BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia 2025 is officially underway – and it started with a bang. Herds of spectators filled the main square in Karlstad for the opening ceremony and continued on to SS1 Bråtebäcken, where the rally action kicked off for real.

And it was Dennis Rådström from Torsby who surprised everyone by setting the fastest overall time on the first stage. Competing in the Swedish Championship (Rally-SM), Rådström clocked a 2:23.2 – 0.8 seconds faster than European Rally Championship (ERC) leader Simone Tempestini, who posted a 2:24.0.
French driver Stéphane Lefebvre and Polish championship leader Miko Marczyk followed closely behind, with Toyota driver Roope Korhonen – winner of Rally Hungary – also within a second of the lead.
Among the Swedish ERC stars, Mille Johansson was best placed in eighth overall, while Isak Reiersen ended the opening stage in tenth position.
