Finally, we’re back on the classic rally and festival grounds! Since Rally Sweden moved further north, Värmland has missed the sound of international motorsport in the forests. And especially here, at this somewhat iconic place. But now, the party is back, and it’s going to be real from the beginning. The ERC rally will offer a full day of rally, live music with “Rockklassiker Allstars”, and party on Saturday. The day will conclude with the Power Stage, where extra points are awarded and the entire rally is settled.

Oliver Solberg is the first king of the Royal Rally of Scandinavia after finishing Saturday’s final eight stages as the winner. His joy and enthusiasm over the victory were evident as he expressed how fantastic it felt to win.
With 5 out of 8 stage wins, Oliver Solberg is currently leading the BAUHAUS Royal Rally 2023. He is locked in an incredibly close battle against Hayden Paddon. The difference between the two rivals is minimal, with only a few seconds (10.2 seconds) separating them. It is an exciting fight for the top spot, where every second and every decision plays a crucial role.
During Thursday’s qualifying round on the Bäck-Hult stage, Swedish hometown hero Oliver Solberg was the fastest, giving him the advantage of choosing his starting number for Friday’s start on SS1 Ölme 1. “The rain made it muddy and slippery, especially with such hard tires. But it didn’t matter – we were the fastest,” says Oliver Solberg. As expected, he chose starting number 22 during the opening ceremony.
