New Service Park for BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia

When BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia takes place on 29–31 May, the rally will have a brand-new base. After two years at Färjestad, the HQ and service park now move to Norra Fältet in Karlstad – a centrally located site right next to the E18 highway.

The new rally HQ will be at Scandic Klarälven, just across the E18, while both ERC and Swedish Championship (SM) teams will service at Norra Fältet. The area is well known for hosting large public events in Karlstad, such as circuses, concerts, and flea markets – and now, the FIA European Rally Championship is added to the list.

As before, entry to the service park is free of charge, and this year it’s even easier for fans to get up close to the rally cars during service. Just a few minutes’ walk from central Karlstad and highly visible from the E18, the rally will make a strong mark on the city landscape.

Andreas Magnusson, Service Park Manager for BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia, says:
“It’s always a challenge to host both ERC and SM at the same location, but Norra Fältet makes that possible. The proximity to the city centre makes it easy for fans to reach the service park. And since it’s visible from the E18, we hope to attract even more visitors who notice that something exciting is happening in town. With free entry, everyone who’s curious is welcome.”
