BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia returns to Färjestad
The FIA European Rally Championship event BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia will return to Färjestad when the fourth edition of the rally takes place 22–24 May. With the rally headquarters located at Färjestad Trotting Track and the service park set up in the southern parking area, the event will once again be based on classic rally ground when Europe’s elite arrive in Sweden.
Last year the service park was located at Norra Fältet near the E18, but as the Metod- och Maskindagarna exhibition will occupy that area in 2026, the rally has chosen to move “back home” to Färjestad. This means a return to the same popular service park location used during the 2023 and 2024 editions of the event.
Färjestad is iconic rally territory – not only for Värmland but for the global rally community. For many years the Rally Sweden superspecial stages were held on the trotting track here, and the facilities at Färjestad will once again host the rally headquarters. The venue also served as the base for rally control and key operations during the inaugural BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia in 2023.
The service park will be free and open to the public throughout the rally. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the drivers and watch the teams work up close on their cars. Opening hours and the full service park schedule will be published later on www.ercroyalrally.com.
On Saturday, 23 May, Färjestad is set to host a true car celebration as the Sola Springmeet car event takes place in the infield of the trotting track while rally teams service their cars just outside.
“Färjestad is a perfect location for the rally with great space and facilities, close to the E18 and the city centre. We know the venue very well and, to be honest, it feels a bit like coming home again,” says Anna Nordkvist, CEO of Royal Rally of Scandinavia.
