The ERC continues to grow stronger each year, and several top names are expected to return to Värmland in 2026. Interest in the championship is also increasing in Sweden, and earlier this spring, the Kil-based team JC Raceteknik announced a full-season ERC programme with young talent Adam Grahn and local star Isak Reiersen, who finished third at BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia last year.

This year’s rally will run from Friday to Sunday, starting with qualifying on Friday morning, followed by the ceremonial start at Stora Torget in Karlstad and a city-close opening stage later that evening. Saturday features four stages run twice, including the iconic Colin’s Crest, while Sunday follows the same format with four stages run twice before the rally concludes with the prize-giving ceremony in Karlstad city centre. The service park and HQ return to Färjestad for 2026.

The rally will also serve as the opening round of the Junior ERC and is part of the ERC Fiesta Rally3 Trophy.

The Supplementary Regulations for FIA ERC are now available, and entries for the event are open via the rally’s official website.

The first two editions of BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia were won by WRC star and local hero Oliver Solberg, while Norwegian driver Eyvind Brynildsen claimed victory in 2025 in his Toyota.
