Several of Europe\u2019s most accomplished drivers have already announced their 2025 campaigns \u2013 including Norwegian stars Mads \u00d8stberg and Frank Tore Larsen, who are both returning to Sweden to chase new victories. Reigning Junior ERC champion Mille Johansson will also step up to the top ERC category this season.<\/p>\n<p>One of Sweden\u2019s most successful rally drivers, Oliver Solberg, remains undefeated at the BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia, having won both previous editions in 2023 and 2024.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s edition introduces several exciting updates for both competitors and fans. The ceremonial start will take place at Karlstad\u2019s Stora Torget (Main Square) on Thursday, followed by the opening stage SS1 Br\u00e5teb\u00e4cken \u2013 a fast and crowd-friendly stage featuring a unique arena section inside the quarry, setting the tone for the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Another major addition is the inclusion of the Swedish Rally Championship (SM), which will run alongside the ERC across the same stages on Friday and Saturday. The SM entry and invitation will be released shortly, promising a strong national presence and even more action for rally fans.<\/p>\n<p>The Supplementary Regulations for the FIA ERC round are now published, and registration for international competitors is officially open on the rally\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>Anna Nordkvist, CEO of BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia, says:<br \/>\n\u201cWe\u2019re proud to welcome both the ERC and now also the Swedish Championship to Karlstad and V\u00e4rmland. This adds a new dimension to the rally and opens up for a broader and more diverse entry list, which we know the fans will love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stig Rune Kjernsli, Clerk of the Course for BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia, adds:<br \/>\n\u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to a close and competitive rally this year. Interest in the ERC continues to grow, and with so many contenders capable of winning, the battle for the podium will be intense in the V\u00e4rmland forests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia takes place 29\u201331 May with a central service park at Norra F\u00e4ltet in Karlstad and classic gravel stages throughout the V\u00e4rmland region.
