42 cars will be competing in the ERC classes, starting with SS1 BAUHAUS just outside central Karlstad on Thursday evening, June 13.<\/p>\n
In the top class of the FIA ERC, which includes four-wheel drive R5 and Rally2 cars, there are a total of 23 cars on the starting line.<\/p>\n
The Solberg family, including last year’s winner Oliver Solberg, will be facing off against each other. Oliver will be driving a Skoda Fabia to defend his victory from 2023, while his father Petter will be driving the VW Polo that Oliver won with last year. The competition will be intensified with the presence of reigning world champion in rallycross, Johan Kristoffersson, who will also be driving a VW Polo.<\/p>\n
Many top Swedish drivers will be participating in BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia, including Isak Reiersen, Kalle Gustafsson, and Christoffer Haglund. Additionally, top Norwegian drivers Frank Tore Larsen, Eyvind Brynildsen, and Mads \u00d8stberg will be competing.<\/p>\n
The FIA ERC top drivers will also be competing in Sweden at the BAUHAUS Royal Rally of Scandinavia. Mathieu Franceschi currently leads the ERC standings, with last year’s champion Hayden Paddon looking to gain points in V\u00e4rmland. Other notable competitors include Simone Tempestini and Mikko Heikkil\u00e4.<\/p>\n
In the FIA Junior ERC, Swedish drivers Mille Johansson and Johan Gr\u00f6nvall lead the championship, with Patrik Hallberg and Calle Carlberg also competing. The Junior EC will feature a total of 14 cars at the start.<\/p>\n
Additionally, five cars will be competing in the Fiesta Rally3 Trophy in Karlstad next weekend.<\/p>\n
